The plaque is impressed Massier, Vallauris to the reverse. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe wonderfully iridescent glaze shifts between deep blue, turquoise and violet depending on the light, a technique associated with the Massier workshops and their Art Nouveau ceramics. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"utf-8\"\u003eThere are some minor imperfections  and wear to the glaze around the edges, consistent with the age of the piece. The glaze is slightly worn on the tip of the nose and there's a small nibble to the underside of the collar, which is not noticeable when displayed on the wall.
